We started The Liberated Kitchen in 2010, when we decided to try the GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) diet and go strictly Gluten Free. For 4 years, we shared every step along the way with you – what we cooked, how we handled social gatherings and travel, our health challenges and improvements, summaries of scientific papers, and our feelings about all of it!

This site became a popular resource, and now, in 2019, still has regular visitors! Through this community, we made connections that live on to this day. We are so grateful for your support and friendship over the years.
